This is an evening Mobile Workshop and features a unique opportunity to watch a Total Lunar Eclipse in Hawai’i and what these astrological alignments mean to Native Hawaiians in both traditional and modern times. We will be looking at the moon, with the assistance of local astronomers using telescopes to observe this phenomenon and investigating moʻolelo, stories of the moon, and identifying key star constellations.
This training will be offered In-Person ONLY at Sandy Beach Park located at 8801 Kalanianaole Highway, on Oʻahu’s southeast shore about 35 minutes from Waikīkī. More information can be found by clicking into the Registration Link.
